Popcorn.

Popcorn.

I was sitting in class today, and my Spanish teacher asked whoever in the class to stand, if they didn't like popcorn. I stood, because I don't like popcorn.
People were looking at me and asking, 'why don't you like popcorn?'

Now, why exactly do I not like popcorn?
It's great movie food, and it's great for snacking on when you're hungry, and it (I've heard) relieves stress in a stressful, dramatic situation. (Hence why they use it for movies.)
But, it has it's flaws. It really does.
For one... it's mutilated corn.

How sad. This poor corn, unknowing that it's about to be popped. WELL, I'm sure it's a bad enough fate that we smother it in butter and fry it and eat it in the first place, but I'm not about to start feeling bad for the stuff, I mean, we gotta eat, and that doesn't have a brain. But... Popcorn is just wrong. It's just... not corn anymore.

Corn is good.

Popcorn is bad.

Another reason, I dislike it is the fact that it get's wedged between your teeth. How's that for a beautiful feeling. I don't know about you, but whenever I used to get popcorn stuck between my teeth... it never felt great. And it's so sharp, my goodness! It made my mouth bleed once. Not gonna lie.

Then there's the BIGGEST reason: It stinks.

It smells like Rotorua.

Of course, if you're reading this, and you're from America, or someplace that isn't New Zealand, you might not understand the resemblance.

I'll explain it.
Rotorua is a city in New Zealand, in the North Island, by the Bay of Plenty. The city is known for it's geothermal activity (Like gysers, boiling mud pools, ect.) And because of all this heat, and activity going on underneath the surface of the place, it makes everything (including the air) smell very bad. I could have been born right next to a boiling mud pool, and I'd still say it smelt bad. Like a skunk on the road... or whatever it smells like when your dog poops inside.
Or you could just smell popcorn.
That's just how much it smells.
Just wanted to let y'all know I dislike it.

P.S. This wasn't trying to make anyone dislike popcorn, just stating facts.

Have a good day(:
